Carley Conder is the Artistic Director of CONDER/dance, a contemporary dance company founded in Arizona in 2003. She is currently a full-time Faculty for the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts at Arizona State University. She has also taught as resident dance faculty for Scottsdale College and the School of Ballet Arizona. Ms. Conder has worked as an invited guest artist for many universities and companies including University of California - Santa Barbara, Brigham Young University, Wasatch Contemporary Dance, California State University - Long Beach, Utah Valley University and Dance New Amsterdam (NYC). Her choreographic work has been presented nationally by Chez Bushwick at the Center for Performance Research (Brooklyn, NY), WestFest at the WestBeth Performing Arts Center (NYC), and Wave Rising at the John Ryan Theater (Brooklyn, NY). She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ballet and Master of Fine Arts in Modern Dance from the University of Utah. Ms. Conder was recently profiled as Phoenix's top 100 Creatives by the Phoenix New Times and enjoys producing an annual dance and film festival, Breaking Ground, at Tempe Center for the Arts.
